“The world will fully understand Obama and Kerry as relentless enemies of Israel.”
Kerry’s speech will “encourage the mullahs who hate Israel and hate America.”
Cruz blasts Obama and Kerry for propping up the Hamas-aligned Palestinian Authority while trying to delegitimize American ally Israel.
Ted Cruz calls Kerry’s conclusion that Israel must choose being “either Jewish or democratic” only passes muster in “Ivory Tower faculty lounges.”
Texas senator and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz accused Obama and his anti-Israel sidekick John Kerry of acting “like bitter clingers” in that they are “spending every last minute” in office “wreaking havoc domestically and abroad.”
Cruz, who made the comments in a Facebook post following John Kerry’s hour long anti-Israel rant on Wednesday, said that Obama and Kerry “with their last breath in office…have struck at Israel, through the United Nations and through today’s disgraceful speech.”
“These acts are shameful,” Cruz wrote about the recent anti-Israel UN resolution passed by the security council and Kerry’s speech on Wednesday. “They are designed to secure a legacy, and indeed they have: history will record and the world will fully understand Obama and Kerry as relentless enemies of Israel.”
Ted Cruz said that Kerry’s speech today will “enflame rising anti-Semitism in Europe” and will “encourage the mullahs who hate Israel and hate America.”
Cruz shamed Kerry for painting a “moral equivalence” between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, which have united to form a government with the “vicious terrorists” of Hamas, and the nation of Israel.
“Secretary Kerry declared the Hamas regime in Gaza ‘radical,’ in the same way he declared the duly-elected government of Israel ‘extreme.’ He declared vicious terrorism sponsored by Hamas equal to Israeli settlements in the West Bank. And he equated Israel’s celebration of its birth with the Palestinian description of this event as a ‘disaster.’ His speech attempted to lay out an historic and seismic shift towards the deligitimization of our ally, Israel, and the further empowerment of the Palestinian Authority.”
Cruz blasted the Obama regime for turning a blind eye to Islamic terrorism, noting that there are roughly 50 Muslim countries in the world but somehow the one Jewish state in the world — Israel — is a problem for them.
Ted Cruz told the Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday that the anti-Israel UN resolution, which Obama chose not to veto, allowing its passage, was part of Obama’s “final assault on Israel” but predicted that it’s only Obama’s “opening salvo” against America’s only true ally and only democracy in the Middle East, Israel.
