“The man cannot tell the truth, but he combines it with being a narcissist at a level I don’t thing this country has ever seen.”
“Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, ‘Dude, what’s your problem?!'”
“This man is a pathological liar. He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.”
“Bullies don’t come from strength. Bullies come from weakness. Bullies come from a deep yawning cavern of insecurity.”
“Donald is cynically exploiting that anger and he is lying to his supporters. Donald will betray his supporters on every issue.”
After bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Ted Cruz’s Baptist minister father, Rafael Cruz, was behind the murder of John F. Kennedy, a conspiracy theory birthed by Trump supporter, close friend and head of tabloid trash The National Enquirer (which has endorsed a candidate for the first time in its history — Donald Trump), David Pecker, Ted Cruz unloaded to the press about how he really feels about Trump.
On the same day that voters in Indiana are headed to the polls, Cruz said he was going to do something that he has never done before at any time during the presidential campaign, and boy did he do it, referring to Trump as perhaps the biggest narcissist the country has ever seen and someone who projects being a pathological liar by calling everyone else a liar.
“This morning, Donald Trump went on national television and attacked my father.
Donald Trump alleges that my dad was involved in assassinating JFK.
Let’s be clear — this is nuts!
This is not a reasonable position. This is just kooky.”
Talking then tongue-in-cheek, Cruz said jokingly that he may as well admit that yes, his dad did kill JFK, he is secretly Elvis, and Jimmy Hoffa is buried in his backyard.
Pecker’s The National Enquirer is the same tabloid trash that floated another invented conspiracy theory, hinting that Cruz has five mistresses, with the only person quoted in the article being Trump henchman and longtime political dirty trickster, Roger Stone. After it Trump’s affection for Pecker became public, Twitter had a field day with the hashtag, #TrumpLovesPecker.
Cruz contended that Trump repeated the JFK conspiracy theory, invented completely by the Enquirer, on national TV because real media hadn’t picked up and broadcast the story in a way that would give it validity. The story was picked up by Alex Jones’ site Infowars, which has chosen to go to bed with the liberal New York billionaire, and is now basically a propaganda tool for the Trump campaign, spreading conspiracy theories and smears against Ted Cruz.
Cruz explained that when his father, Rafael Cruz, came to America after escaping from communist Cuba, after being beaten and tortured, he was penniless, “exactly the kind of person Donald Trump looks down on.”
“This man is a pathological liar. He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.
And in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology textbook, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying.
He accuses everybody on the debate stage of lying. And in simply a mindless yell, whatever he does, he accuses everyone else of doing.
The man cannot tell the truth but he combines it with being a narcissist. A narcissist at a level I don’t think this country has ever seen.
Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, ‘Dude, what’s your problem?!'”
“Everything in Donald’s world is about Donald,” Cruz contended, further stating that if you hooked Trump up to a lie detector test, he could pass it with flying colors because he actually believes his own lies at any given moment.
“The man is utterly amoral,” Cruz charged. “Morality does not exist for him,” he said, bringing up the smear Trump launched before the Wisconsin primary against Heidi Cruz. Cruz said that if he doesn’t think Heidi is attractive then perhaps he’s legally blind as well.
“Bullies don’t come from strength. Bullies come from weakness. Bullies come from a deep yawning cavern of insecurity,” Cruz said after calling Trump a bully. “There is a reason Donald builds giant buildings and puts his name on them everywhere he goes.”
Ted Cruz said that he shares the anger millions of Americans have with politicians in Washington, DC, who have lied to them.
“Donald is cynically exploiting that anger and he is lying to his supporters. Donald will betray his supporters on every issue.
If you care about immigration, Donald is laughing at you. And he’s telling the moneyed elites, he doesn’t believe what he’s saying, he’s not going to build the wall — that’s what he told the New York Times.
He will betray you on every issue across the board.”
The Donald Trump campaign, which just accused Rafael Cruz of being involved in the murder of JFK, responded to Cruz’s comments by calling the Texas senator as “unhinged,” perfectly making Cruz’s point that Trump is a master of projection.
