With the election less than one week away, both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have been ramping up their efforts to woo voters to their side. While Trump has increased his rally schedule, often doing three rallies a day, Hillary has been hammering Trump with ads, especially in key states.
Trump, however, only recently began increasing his television ads against Hillary Clinton, a strategy that has had many baffled. During the Olympics, Hillary Clinton was running ad after ad against Donald Trump and Trump ran none. But it looks like Donald Trump is now at least making some effort to reach beyond his base who attends his rallies to try to gain additional voters who may not have made up their minds. The question remains, though, is it too late.
This is the ad that Donald Trump should have been running for months, but he chose not to put money into ads until the last hour. The ad, which addresses the corruption of Hillary and asks how she got filthy rich after leaving White House “dead broke,” is so powerful that even Chris Cillizza from the Washington Post deemed it as being “a good ad from Trump.”
Check it out. But is this too little, too late?
