The Candidate No One Saw Coming

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]While the NYT focuses on Rubio’s non-existent criminal record, Fox News continues to push you towards Jeb Bush and Mike Huckabee, and the rest of the political media world is fascinated by the GOP debate rules, Ben Carson has very quietly risen to the top tier of the GOP field.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]This is the one thing no one is talking about. In the last two Fox News polls Ben Carson polled at 13 percent and 11 percent which put him tied with Jeb Bush for first place and one point behind respectively. In the latest Quinnipiac poll, Ben Carson is in a 5-way tie for first place. Yet Fox News and the rest of the media seem to ignore him. They seldom include him in their “graphics” and even when they do, they never mention him.

Perhaps this is the way Ben Carson wants it, but in the age of instant news, if he doesn’t start demanding a front-runner’s attention share, when the media and the Clinton machine finally catch up to the polling and they realize Ben Carson is a real possibility, they are going to hit him with everything they have and he will be brought crashing down. This is exactly what they did to Herman Cain.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
