The Latest Speech by Ted Cruz’s Dad Will Make the Left Hate Him Even More [VIDEO]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Speaking at the Western Conservative Summit in Denver this weekend, Ted Cruz’s father, Rafael Cruz, who escaped tyrannical communism in Cuba in his youth to take a shot at the American dream, compared Democrat President Barack Obama to another Marxist leader who he knows a little something about — Fidel Castro.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]”We are seeing today a president that operates by executive order, by fear, not much different than that bearded dictator I left in Cuba almost 60 years ago,” Mr. Cruz, a Christian minister announced to the crowd.

The elder Cruz, a fiery and powerful speaker who is seen as a major benefit to his son’s presidential campaign, except by leftists out to destroy his son, took aim to the campaign claim by GOP presidential candidates who are governors that “executive experience” is necessary in order to successfully lead the nation.

Mr. Cruz argued that America needs much more than a “manager,” but a “proven leader” and a “proven fighter” who will not compromise constitutional principles, the kind of principles his son, Senator Ted Cruz, has demonstrated from a very young age.

“Before my son left high school he was passionate about the Constitution, he was passionate about free markets, about the rule of law, of limited government,” Cruz said, as reported by the Washington Examiner. “Ted Cruz will not compromise his principles in Washington because that fire is as alive today as it was 30 years ago.”[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]Mr. Cruz pulled the mask off the progressive narrative of “social justice,” which he said comes straight out of communism.

“One of the most damaging things that this so-called social justice, which is just nothing more than collectivism and comes right out of Karl Marx,” Cruz said. “What it has done is destroy the dream, we need to reawaken the American dream.”

Mr. Cruz said that his son “is running against the political corruption in Washington in both parties. The establishment in both parties is rotten to the core.” Because of that, he said that both party’s establishments are coming after Ted Cruz “with everything they got.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
