Following RINO Speaker of the House John Boehner’s stunning announcement that he would be vacating his entrenched congressional seat and speakership, Louisiana Governor and GOP presidential candidate Bobby Jindal has a message for Surrender Caucus Senate “Leader” Mitch McConnell.
Speaking at the Values Voter Summit on Friday, Jindal told a fired-up crowd of conservatives that it’s time for Mitch McConnell to follow Boehner’s lead and resign.
Jindal said that there needs to be a lot more housecleaning in DC and that the current political environment is “a choice between honest socialists on one side and lying ‘conservatives’ on the other side.”
“The left is honest. They’ll tell us what they’re going to do. They’re going try to expand socialism. It’s the Republicans who lie to us. They say they’re conservative during the campaigns — they don’t govern like it at all.
Here’s my message — here’s what I say in response to Speaker Boehner stepping down — Mitch McConnell, it is now your turn!
[long, thunderous applause and a standing ovation]
If Senator McConnell is not willing to fight for our conservative principles, then he needs to follow John Boehner’s example — the Surrender Caucus needs to surrender their gavels and turn it in.”
