REVEALED: The Promo Video of Failed Trump University Sounds Eerily Familiar

Much of the bloviating bravado from bombastic billionaire and reality TV star Donald Trump sounds eerily familiar in the following video, the promotional video of the failed Trump University.

Note that the video is not from one of Trump’s campaign speeches, even though it sounds nearly exactly like them, using precisely the same brand of snake oil that he’s using to con the American public.

“We’re going to have professors and adjunct professors that are absolutely terrific, terrific people, terrific brains, successful. We are going to have the best of the best.”

It sounds nearly identical to the sales pitch Trump is giving American voters, that the only problem with government is that the wrong people are in charge and that only he can hire the brightest minds to manage the huddled masses.

Whenever Trump is presented with the opportunity to provide details for his promises to “Make America Great Again,” he typically resorts to his hiring the “best of the best,” as he did with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in August of last year:

“I’m going to get great people that know what they’re doing, not a bunch of political hacks that have no idea what they’re doing, appointed by President Obama, that doesn’t have a clue. I mean that man doesn’t have a clue.”

It almost sounds like the con man who promises to replace Obamacare with “something terrific,” without saying what, while at the same time embracing the worst part of Obamacare — the mandate.

As National Review reported, everything didn’t go terrifically at Trump University, which is being accused in courts of being a “bait-and-switch scheme” and a “scam” by then- attorney general of New York Eric Schneiderman:

Trump University is currently the defendant in three lawsuits — two class-action lawsuits filed in California, and one filed in New York by then-attorney general Eric Schneiderman, who told CNN’s New Day in 2013: “We started looking at Trump University and discovered that it was a classic bait-and-switch scheme. It was a scam, starting with the fact that it was not a university.”

Don’t worry folks, happy days are here again. Donald Trump is going to make everything really, really great, by hiring the smartest and terrific people, just like he did at failed Trump University.
