This High School Kid Was Told to Remove the American Flag from His Truck; The School Didn’t Expect This…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Just when you think that the younger generation of Americans, the next generation, educated mostly by anti-American Marxist teachers, are leading to a very bleak future for America, this kid comes along and gives a glimmer of hope — hope that there are a few young folks willing to stand up against progressive political-correct tyranny.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]An patriotic 18-year-old senior, Peyton Robinson, who has several family members who have served their country in the military, was told by an anti-America school administrator Wednesday morning at York Comprehensive School, in York County, South Carolina, that he must remove the American flag on his pickup truck.

“We’re having some issues. Some people were complaining about the flags in your truck,” the administrator told young Robinson, referring the the American flag and POW-MIA flag hoisted in the bed of his GMC truck, saying that people could “possibly” be offended by the patriotic display.

Before Robinson could even act, the cultural Marxist administrators at the school, without Robinson’s permission, ripped the patriotic flags off the truck and laid them down on the bed, a disrespectful and hateful violation of the U.S. Flag Code.

“Anytime you get a flag of any kind flying, it creates a visual distraction,” said York Comprehensive High School Principal Christopher Black, caught with his unpatriotic pants down, trying to change the story from the original excuse, which was that someone might possibly be offended by the American flag.

But rather than cower to the America-haters, Robinson was livid and decided to push back against the tyrannical school authorities, posting the following message on his personal Instagram account, as reported by WCNC, using the hashtags #America and #fightforourright (emphasis added):

“I’ve been told by 2 administrators at my school this morning that I can’t have an American Flag on my truck because other people have complained about it. Well let me tell you something, I have every right to fly an American flag. It will not be coming off of my truck. This really pisses me off. I ask that everyone that sees this post that attends York Comprehinsive flys an American flag of some sort on whatever they may drive to school tomorrow to prove a point. I will not let this go down without a fight.” #America #fightforourright

And that’s exactly what local citizens did, rallying around the bold young American, driving around in their flag-bearing cars, tooting their horns.  WCNC reports:

Thursday morning students, parents and community members met to fly their flags around town. York resident Russell Shively says, “You got somebody that’s showing their patriotism and flying an American flag on the back of their truck and you want them to take it down? That’s not America.”

And guess what happened, the school system backed down.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]On their Facebook page, the school tucked tail and posted the following message, trying to put lipstick on the pig they created:

“Due [sic] to the outstanding display of patriotism through peaceful demonstration, it is apparent to us that many are not happy about this policy,” the statement read. “School officials have reviewed the standing policy regarding flags and have decided that an exception will be made for the American flag, as long as the size of the flag(s) does not create a driving hazard.”

“When I hear that you can’t fly the American flag it makes my blood run red, and my blood is red,” Vietnam Veteran Michael Douglas told WBTV, which has the following report:
