Those Who Believe in Religious Freedom Send a Six-Figure Message to the Anti-Christian Bigots

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A pizzeria in Indiana that has been the target of death threats and other threats of violence has witnessed an incredible amount of support from Americans across the country after shutting down the business out of fear for safety. In less than 24 hours, more than $132,000 has been raised for the owner of Memories Pizza thanks to radio host Dana Loesch and investigative reporter Lawrence Billy Jones III who both work for Glenn Beck’s The Blaze.

[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Not only did Memories Pizza owner Crystal O’Connor have to close down her restaurant, their Yelp page was flooded with vile, disgusting, and threatening comments as those opposed to their religious beliefs rated their restaurant with one star in an attempt to destroy their name and reputation. In response, Jones started a gofundme page to assist the owner, who was watching her livelihood crumble before her very eyes. Loesch then helped promote it.

Democrat Indiana State Senator Jim Arnold was part of the intolerant chorus of people who attacked O’Connor and her pizzeria. In speaking with ABC 57, Senator Arnold said, “The vast majority of people in this country are not going to stand by and watch that kind of activity unfold. If that’s their stand I hope they enjoy eating their pizza because I don’t think anyone else is going to.”

Perhaps Senator Arnold should go check out the gofundme campaign to get a real sense of what Americans think about this situation. The message sent from those who believe in the Constitutionally guaranteed right to religious freedom is that bullying from the intolerant, hate-filled left will not be tolerated.

As a state senator, Arnold should be defending the Constitution and taking a stand for those that he serves to exercise their freedom of religion. Instead, Senator Arnold puts his intolerance on full display as he joins those who spread lies about what RFRA truly is, while also wishing for ill-will upon a small business owner in his state.

The support for Memories Pizza continues to grow. In the time that it has taken me to write this article, another $4,000 has been raised for Crystal O’Connor, owner of Memories Pizza.

Listen to Dana Loesch’s interview with O’Connor to learn more about her experience with the intolerant Left.
