I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of opportunistic hypocrites who make a name for themselves as so-called conservative or Tea Party stars only to reveal that they actually have no principles. They just say what they think they need to say in order to get ahead.
Tomi Lahren, host at The Blaze, put her disgusting hypocrisy on full display Friday when she appeared on ABC’s The View.
Lahren, whose star shot higher into orbit during the Trump presidential campaign, not only declared herself to be pro-choice, she made the weak and misguided argument why that supposedly is a conservative position while simultaneously bashing pro-life conservatives as hypocrites.
“I’m pro choice, and here’s why. I am a constitutional, y’know, someone that loves the Constitution. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well…”
Of course, the cackling hens on The View ate it up. After all, a so-called rising star conservative just toed the liberal line by attacking pro-lifers. There’s a huge problem, though.
During the presidential campaign, Tomi Lahren was live tweeting during a debate between Hillary Clinton and Trump. At that time, in October 2016, she took a pro-life stand that babies in the womb have constitutional rights.
Illegals have rights in the USA but not the unborn? #debatenight

That’s not the worst of her glaring hypocrisy. In December 2016, just three short months ago, Tomi Lahren did one of her epic rants, the very thing that put her on the map with many conservatives and Trump supporters, in which she railed against those who are pro-choice, specifically going after Lena Dunham.
Unfortunately for Tomi Lahren, but fortunately for the conservative movement, there is such a thing as video recordings and the internet. With that as ammunition, The Reagan Battalion ripped the mask off of Tomi Lahren exposing her opportunistic hypocrisy.

Interestingly enough, Tomi’s boss, Glenn Beck not only retweeted The Reagan Battalion’s tweet via former Ted Cruz communications director Amanda Carpenter, he also tweeted a message in reference to the above Lahren quote declaring herself a ‘constitutional’ and therefore pro-choice, i.e. in favor of murdering babies in the womb.
Rule another label out. I am NOT a "constitutional". I believe in LIFE, liberty and property. Just an old fashioned "constitutionalist."

Given Tomi Lahren’s inadvertent self-reveal of being a raging hypocrite, those, especially in the Trump camp, who sing her praises need to ask themselves a question. Did Tomi Lahren jump on the Trump Train in order to boost her profile and get more media and social media attention?
After all, it doesn’t look like she has a principle to stand on. Either she flip-flopped from being a fervent pro-life supporter to calling pro-life conservatives hypocrites in a short three months or she is a liar who will use anyone, anything, any platform and any position to get ahead, even if she doesn’t really believe in it.
My vote is for the latter.
