One of the many ways to document just how dishonest the Democrat Media Complex is not just to observe slanted reporting, what they report or refuse to report, but also what they obsess over. Many important stories go largely ignored by the media, while others get stretched out for days that have very little real significance.
One of those stories that should have been given much more attention than it received was Democrat Hillary Clinton, while serving as Obama’s secretary of state in 2009, Russia funneled millions of dollars to the corrupt Clinton Foundation in return for her approving the sale of 20% of America’s uranium production to Russia.
“The whole Russian thing, that’s a ruse — that’s a ruse,” President Trump told reporters during a lengthy press conference on Thursday. “And by the way, it would be great if we could get along with Russia, just so you understand that. Now, tomorrow you’ll say, ‘Donald Trump wants to get along with Russia; this is terrible,'” he stated in a mocking tone.
Trump then pulled down the pants of the media by exposing the difference in obsessively and negatively reporting his desire to begin his administration by trying — if possible — to get along with fellow nuclear power Russia, while praising Hillary Clinton’s infamous Russian “reset button” during the beginning of the Obama regime, a reset that failed miserably.
“We had Hillary Clinton give Russia 20 percent of the uranium in our country,” Trump said slowly with emphasis. “You know what uranium is, right?” he asked the media rhetorically, noting that it is the key ingredient used to make nuclear weapons.
“Nobody talks about that,” Trump observed, referring to the media’s incuriosity on the subject at the time. “I didn’t do anything for Russia. I’ve done nothing for Russia,” he asserted.
Trump then mocked the now infamous “stupid plastic button,” the “reset button” Hillary used as a prop to announce that in 2009 was supposed to illustrate new and better relations with Russia, formerly part of the failed communist regime, the Soviet Union, and its leader, former KGB agent Vladimir Putin.
Mainstream media applauded the move at the time, very much unlike Trump’s desire to start off on the right foot with Russia. I don’t recall anyone in the media calling Hillary “pro-Russia” or “in bed with Vladimir” at the time.
