Bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor Donald Trump and his cabal of thugs are desperately looking for new excuses to justify the manhandling of 28-year-old female reporter Michelle Fields by Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
After new video footage clearly shows Lewandowski aggressively grabbing Fields’ arm (hence the bruises), Trump, who was surrounded by Secret Service during the altercation, is now claiming that the pen Fields was holding (don’t all reporters carry around pens?) could have been — get this — “a little bomb.”
One could call Trump excessively paranoid or cowardly, but considering this new whopper is to polish over the previously lies that Lewandowski wasn’t even near her, nor did he touch her, we’ll just have to call it what it is — another lie.
“She was grabbing me,” Trump said, changing his story during Tuesday night’s GOP CNN town hall (Ironically, Trump and his chumps accuse Fields of changing her story — she did not) “And just so you understand, she was off base because she went through the Secret Service. She had a pen in her hand, which Secret Service is not liking because they don’t know what it is, whether it’s a little bomb.”
The absurdity of this outlandish statement is beyond words. Now Lewandowski attacked Fields because her pen was a bomb?
Less than three weeks ago, Trump sang a different tune, accusing Michelle Fields of inventing the entire incident.
“Perhaps she made it up,” Trump said on March 10. “I think that’s what happened.”
On that same day, the character assassination, lies, and smear campaign against Michelle Fields was launched in lieu of Lewandowski picking up the phone and offering a simple apology:
@MichelleFields you are totally delusional. I never touched you. As a matter of fact, I have never even met you.

You can’t make this stuff up! It’s funny that the Secret Service didn’t seem alarmed by Fields’ magical pen-bomb. It was Corey Lewandowski, who has been charged by the Jupiter Police (Florida) for battery, who had a problem with Fields, trying to obstruct her from asking Trump a question that he may not have been able to answer.
