Trump Resurrects ‘Lyin’ Ted’ Smear for Party Unity Sake, or Something [VIDEO]

Donald Trump is back to his “Lyin’ Ted” mantra to smear Ted Cruz , even though the second-place finisher suspended his campaign over three weeks ago following the Indiana primary.

At a campaign rally in California on Friday, the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor told the crowd that he was retiring the “Lyin’ Ted” line — but then not being able to control himself, repeated the line in the next sentence, literally contradicting himself within seconds.

And of course, like the other times Trump used the line to smear Ted Cruz, a decent and honorable man who was fighting for the Constitution and against the establishment in both parties while Trump spent his adult life funding them, Trump was unable to articulate one lie Cruz told, but knew that his useful idiot followers would believe anything he said.

“I wonder if I could start, instead of saying ‘Crooked Hillary,’ which is a very accurate description, I wonder if I could say — you know, remember lyin’, lyin’ — I won’t say ‘Lyin Ted’ — I refuse to say it.”

“Lyin’ Ted! Trump shouted in his huckster-like, sleazy televangelist tone. “Holds that Bible high, puts it down and then he lies! Lyin’ Ted. Well, I’m going to retire that from Ted — I’m not going to call Ted that anymore.”

It’s nice to see Ted Cruz is still living rent-free in Donald Trump’s brain. I wonder if Trump thinks these continued smears of his former opponents are somehow going to bring about “party unity.”

And remember, it was Donald Trump who literally held the Bible in the air and then lied, lied about being a Christian, the only Christian in the history of the world to have never asked God for forgiveness.

Putting aside the inarguable fact that Donald Trump is easily the biggest a-hole in the history of politics, it’s not even smart for him to be doing this at a time when the broken Republican Party is supposed to be “healing.”

Donald Trump is a con man and a joke and the joke is on America. His followers are creating a madman. There, you’ve been warned.

Good luck with that conservative vote, Don. No principled conservative will able to pinch their nostrils tight enough to vote for this narcissistic authoritarian con man whose Alinsky tactics make Obama’s look amateurish.
