Katrina Pierson, national spokesperson for Donald Trump, continues to defend his business trip Scotland, and this excuse is even funnier than the one used on Saturday by Trump surrogate Scottie Nell Hughes.

Watch below as Pierson, who appeared Saturday on CNN, explains that Trump promoting his golf course (and sprinkler systems) in the middle of the historic shockwave that is Brexit, is “No different than a senator running for office and going back to Washington, DC, to cast a vote.”

Oh, my. The jokes just keep writing themselves.
