Bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor Donald Trump made his first joint campaign appearance with newly named VP running mate pick, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, on Saturday and a couple of lines from Trump’s speech stand out as pretty humorous.
Not only did Trump feel the need to remind everyone that Mike Pence actually endorsed constitutional conservative Ted Cruz over him, but also spun the awkward reality into really being an endorsement of him.
Because it’s always about stroking Trump’s massive, yet fragile ego.
Additionally, Ted Cruz, probably the only candidate with a near 100% proven track record as being an unadulterated truth teller and standing by his word, was vilified and smeared by Trump as “Lyin’ Ted,” with Trump on more than one occasion labeling Cruz as the worst liar Trump has seen in his life during the GOP primary.
Trump’s untreated and serious case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) won’t allow him to apologize to Cruz or his supporters for his Alinsky-like politics of personal destruction and lies about Cruz, so the best he can probably do in his limited mental capacity, and without strong medication, is to replace “Lyin’ Ted” with “Good guy.”
“When Governor Pence was under tremendous pressure from establishment people to endorse somebody else — but it was more of an endorsement for me — if you remember.
He talked about Trump, then he talked about Ted who’s a good guy, by the way, who’s going to be speaking — Ted Cruz –good guy.
But he talked about Trump, Ted, then went back to Trump. I said, ‘Who did he endorse?’
So even though he was under pressure, ’cause I’m so, you know, outside the establishment, it was the single greatest non-endorsement I’ve ever had in my life — I will tell you.”
And, he still thinks he’s outside the establishment, as do his useful idiot followers, even though he was the moneybags for the establishment for decades, funding corrupt politicians from Obama’s Mitch McConnell to “Crooked” Hillary Clinton.

And for posterity, here’s Donald Trump (all the way back in February of this year):
“I must tell you one thing about Ted Cruz that I can say, only to a minor extent, for comparison to the other politicians, I haven’t been doing this long, I’ve been in it since June 16, but I will tell you, I have never, ever met a person that lies more than Ted Cruz. I have never ever seen anything like it.”
