Trump Thanksgiving Message: Pray to Heal Our Divisions [VIDEO]

The next President of the United States, Donald Trump, delivered a brief yet unifying Thanksgiving Day message to the country, declaring that “We are blessed to call this nation our home,” and that he’s praying “that on this Thanksgiving we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country strengthened by shared purpose.”

President-elect Trump admitted that the past presidential campaign which ended with his upset victory on November 8, was a “long and bruising one” and that “emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight.”

Nevertheless, Trump urged the nation to “make history together to bring real change to Washington, real safety to our cities and real prosperity to our communities, including our inner cities.”

He closed his Thanksgiving Day message that the campaign is over and now is the time to “rebuild our great country” and to “restore the full promise of America for all of our people.”
