Trump’s Manafort: Women Will Vote for Trump Because ‘Their Husbands Can’t Pay the Bills’

I know what he’s trying to get at here, and it won’t matter with Trump supporters — or most Republicans for that matter — but this isn’t the kind of thing that’s going to fly in a general election, especially when you’re running against a female candidate.

Hillary Clinton will eat this line up. Oh, and the media!

Appearing on MSNBC with Chris Matthews on Thursday, on the night that Donald Trump is going to accept his party’s nomination, Trump campaign manager, Soviet-linked Paul Manafort, let loose this doozy:

“Many women feel they can’t afford their lives. Their husbands can’t afford to pay for the family bills.”

This isn’t going to sit well, I’m just telling you. The left is going to have a field day with this line that sounds out of the 1950’s era.

Sorry, you just gotta be smarter than this:

Cries of “misogyny” and “out of touch” coming to the airwaves in 3, 2, 1…
