TYRANNY UPDATE: Citizen Journalist Harassed by Obama Regime for Exposing Unsecure Border [VIDEO]

Barack Obama has on more than one occasion used the force and power of the Oval Office and federal agencies to harass, intimidate, and punish those he views as his political enemies. That tactic was put on full display when he published a website naming and shaming some of Mitt Romney’s, his 2012 GOP opponent for the presidency, top donors. It was even more apparent with the IRS targeting of the Tea Party movement and other conservative groups. Now, we have another clear cut example of retaliation by an Obama federal agency, and it was all caught on tape.

Investigative Journalist James O’Keefe has made a name for himself with numerous videos done through his organization Project Veritas. Work by O’Keefe led to the dismantling of ACORN. In 2011, he also made national news after going undercover as a pimp at Planned Parenthood. In those videos, he was advised at a number of Planned Parenthood clinics around the country on underage sex trafficking and secret abortions for minors.

But, the undercover video that put O’Keefe on the federal government’s radar was when he crossed the southern border disguised as Muslim terrorist Osama bin Laden in the summer of 2014. This occurred during the time of massive and constant influx of illegal aliens amid a concern that terrorists could easily cross into America as well. O’Keefe exposed just how easy it would be for a terrorist to take advantage of the porous border to enter America. That obviously didn’t sit very well with Obama, who has claimed on more than on occasion that the border has never been more secure.

Since the bin Laden investigative video, O’Keefe says he has been stopped, held, and questioned by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents six times. After he was flagged for inspection four times, O’Keefe decided he would gather evidence to prove that he is being targeted by the United States government because of his investigative journalism that has embarrassed the Obama administration.

On his fifth stop by U.S. Customs in Montreal, O’Keefe was held for one hour and asked questions ranging from what he does for a living to, more specifically, “Maybe you passed the border before in a disguise?” Agents also pressed him on what his next project was going to be and who he supports for President in 2016. At one point, they were concerned that he was recording them and asked if he had any recording device.

The agents were also concerned that O’Keefe was smuggling something in to see if he could get away with him. One Customs officer said to him, “We don’t search you then we get screwed because we didn’t do our job. I feel that the reason why they put that hit on you — they don’t want you to pull a fast one on us.”

After being questioned for an hour, a supervisor entered the room and gave him permission to leave. It happened all over again, however, in Seattle 11 days later.

O’Keefe had a nearly identical experience, but also got even further proof that he is being targeted by the federal government in retaliation for his undercover work, specifically the bin Laden video.

What is happening to James O’Keefe is demonstrative of what little respect for the Constitution, specifically in this case the First Amendment, that Barack Obama has. It is a dangerous time in America when a journalist experiences such retaliation for simply exercising their right to freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
