Obama’s Trying to Grab 1.35 Million Acres in Utah; He’s Got a Fight on His Hands

Power-hungry progressive leftist Obama is kicking and screaming as he gets dragged out the door by the U.S. Constitution limiting his tyrannical rule to two terms, doing as much damage as he can rather than working to provide a smooth transition of power like prior presidents who love America have done as a matter of tradition and duty.

On his way out the door, while simultaneously kicking America’s only ally in the Middle East, Israel, in the teeth, Obama announced a massive federal land grab because of the long-term leftist goal of eliminating the states completely.

Not satisfied with the already two-thirds (66.5 percent) of Utah that the federal leviathan has already confiscated, greedy Obama announced this week a massive land grab of another 1.35 million acres of land to call the fed’s own, a complete bastardization of the U.S. Constitution.

Under the Necessary and Proper Clause, the federal government may acquire and retain land necessary for carrying out its enumerated powers, including military bases, post offices, buildings to house federal employees undertaking enumerated functions, which do not include Obama waking up one morning in the mood to steal state land under the guise of “protecting the environment,” “nature” or other such covers to please Hillary’s green billionaire donors who will now be left empty handed.

Obama’s Utah land grab is not going to happen without a fight, thankfully, and it shouldn’t.

Utah’s attorney general, Sean Reyes, said on Wednesday that he is preparing a lawsuit against Obama to stop his tyrannical government land grab.

“My office is working closely with the governor’s office, federal and state legislators, and San Juan County to file a lawsuit challenging this egregious overreach by the Obama administration,” Reyes said in a statement late Wednesday after Obama’s announcement.

“This case is different from other past challenges by states and counties and we are confident in our chances of success,” Reyes explained.

“But the courtroom is not our only option,” he continued. “Our federal delegation is working hard to defund the designation or rescind it altogether. Additionally, we look forward to working with the new presidential administration on ways to curtail or otherwise address the designation.”

Part of that delegation, badass Tea Party Senator Mike Lee , a constitutional scholar, has promised to “work tirelessly with Congress and the incoming Trump administration to honor the will of Utahns and undo this monument designation.”

Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz mocked the Obama regime for tweeting a wrong picture when announcing the land grab, noting that Obama “couldn’t find a pic of Bears Ears (the name of the area under siege) and doesn’t even know where it is. Chaffetz, not holding back, used the hashtag #WorstPresidentEver.

“The midnight move is a slap in the face to the people of Utah, attempting to silence the voices of those who will bear the heavy burden it imposes,” Congressman Chaffetz said in a statement. “Furthermore, the decision is a major break with protocol previously followed by this administration. It does not have the support of the Governor, a single member of the state’s Congressional delegation, nor any local elected officials or state legislators who represent the area,” he stated.

Chaffetz appeared on FOX News Thursday, noting that Obama’s Utah land grab of 1.35 million acres is bigger than the entire size of the State of Delaware and that he’s not going to get it without a fight.
