VIDEO: 12 Years Ago Comedians JOKED About Political Correctness Removing the Confederate Flag from Dukes of Hazzard Car

Twelve years ago, Blue Collar Comedy comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy joked that political correctness would get so bad in America that eventually progressive political correctness police would remove the Confederate battle flag from the famous 1969 Dodge Charger, “The General Lee” on the long-running “Dukes of Hazzard” series.

It took just twelve short years for the anti-free speech leftist movement to go after the General Lee, and the historic flag. Now TV Land, Warner Bros., Amazon and other cowards are either banning the car or the TV show and its merchandise entirely.

And as you can see in the video below, the audience laughed at the thought, not realizing how accurate the prediction would turn out to be. They joked about what a calamity it would be if political correctness got so totalitarian that symbols of Southern heritage would come under attack. It was funny because it seemed so outlandish twelve years ago.

Now it’s reality and Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy are looking like prophets.
