VIDEO: ‘Elvis & Nixon’…Check Out the Hilarious Trailer with Kevin Spacey

Did you know that President Richard Nixon and Elvis Presley had a meeting in 1970? Yes, I am talking about that Elvis Presley. The Elvis Presley.

It seems as though Elvis wanted Nixon to appoint him as an undercover agent in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

The film stars Kevin Spacey, who most know now as the brilliant, yet corrupt Frank Underwood in the hit Netflix show House of Cards, as Richard Nixon and Michael Shannon as Presley. It will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival next week and will be in theaters on April 22.

Watch the trailer for the movie which depicts this kind of odd, quirky, yet interesting piece of American history that many probably had no clue even happened.

(NOTE: The film says “inspired by a true story,” which means some kind of poetic license was likely taken to change things up a bit.)
