Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has watched his campaign fall apart and, with it, his dream of becoming the Republican nominee for the presidency in 2016 deteriorate before his eyes. Paul has slipped so far down in the polls that the Washington Examiner power rankings of Republican presidential candidates has him in tenth place.
This tenth place spot puts Paul ahead of only Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore; most of whom have barely registered in the polls. But, Paul insists that he is still running for president and is not dropping out of the race. Perhaps to assuage his supporter’s concerns, Paul did an outdoor livestream question and answer video during which he answered the top questions asked about him on Google.
It didn’t go very well.
When Paul got to the third question, his answer undoubtedly shocked those watching.
Paul, who has not lived down his endorsement of Obama’s Mitch McConnell, read, “The third question, most popular from Google is: ‘Is Rand Paul still running for president?'”
“Well, I don’t know, I wouldn’t be doing this dumb— livestreaming if I weren’t, so yes I still am running for president, get over it,” Paul snapped.
Testy, are we?
