By now, everybody has an opinion on Donald Trump. The brash billionaire has wooed and repulsed millions of Americans. To conservatives, he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. To those sick and tired of political correctness, he’s a breath of fresh air. To liberals, he’s the devil.
To those who wish to continue to break America’s laws, he’s the biggest obstacle to their goal.
A video on YouTube shows the vitriol and hatred of this latter group. A video that was reportedly filmed by Mexican parents in the country illegally delighted in training their 3-year-old daughter to espouse hatred and pledge to “kill Donald Trump.”
The video, brought to national attention by conservative blogger Mark Dice, entails a little girl surrounded by dolls being taught by her parents (who were off-camera) to speak of murder.
“We’re going to kill Donald Trump,” the little girl says.
“Why are we going to kill Donald Trump?” the mother asked.
“Cause he’s bad,” the girl says.
Truthfully, her unrefined political philosophy is not substantially less-articulate than what one typically sees from “professional” commentators and “journalists” on MSNBC or CNN.
The mother, reported to be a Mexican immigrant, is heard whispering, “that’s right.”
When asked why Trump is “bad,” the girl replies, “Cause he wants to take away our family.”
The couple then asks the daughter what they’re going to do about Trump and the girl enthusiastically replies, “We have to kill him!”
The parents then burst into laughter over this cherished childhood memory being created.
Dice made a sobering analogy when he noted that these parents are doing the same kind of brainwashing that terrorist groups like Hamas or ISIS routinely do.
“Now Mexican Americans are doing the same thing to their children, encouraging them to want to kill the possible next president of the United States.”
Truthfully, there are many reasons to be concerned about a possible Donald Trump presidency. However, only a psychopath believes that brainwashing a child with this kind of notion is acceptable.
While the family fosters hatred, consider what their main grievance with Trump seems to be: at least one of these parents broke America’s laws by coming to this country illegally. And in this warped scenario, the political leader calling for the application of our national laws is so unreasonable that he warrants assassination.
Simultaneously, the right is endlessly berated as “hateful” and “intolerant.” The left postures as the purveyors of tolerance but when not supporting this kind of hateful and intolerant rhetoric, the mainstream media tacitly condones it by ignoring such examples in favor of focusing on the supposedly bigoted assertions of conservative leaders who want to secure our borders and keep men and women in their respective restrooms.
The left, not the right, is fueled by hatred and intolerance. The right is fueled by frustration and resentment over this glaring hypocrisy.
