WATCH: Leftist Stephen Colbert Repeats Democrat Party Talking Points in Interview with Ted Cruz

Democrat Party plant Stephen Colbert, masquerading as a late night talk show host, interviewed presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Monday night, badgering Cruz repeatedly with Democrat Party talking points into an attempt to reduce the most feared Republican running for president — if you’re an anti-American leftist.

Clown Colbert, already suffering from abysmal ratings in his new gig as The Late Show on CBS host, apparently thought that he could somehow resuscitate his failing program by continuing to push his program even further to the left than it already was, peppering Ted Cruz, a principled constitutional conservative, with gotcha questions about the Reagan administration.

Leftist Stephen Colbert pointed out the biggest mistakes of the Reagan presidency — negotiating with Democrats — on amnesty and tax policy as a futile attempt into trapping Cruz into disagreeing with Reagan.

First a quick history lesson and an obliteration of Stephen Colbert’s utter ignorance on the Reagan record:

Reagan implemented the largest tax cut in American history, lowering the top tax rate of 72%, all the way down to 28%, even though he didn’t have both houses of Congress.

Following that, Reagan negotiated an agreement in 1982 with Democrat Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill to slightly raise taxes in return for for spending decreases. Reagan offerred a three-to-one ratio of spending cuts to tax increases.

Reagan kept his end of the bargain, and of course, the Democrats didn’t keep their promise and the spending cuts never ensued.

Stephen Colbert also tried to trip up Ted Cruz on regards to amnesty. Similar on some level to Satan quoting the Bible to Jesus, Colbert brought up the fact that Reagan provided amnesty to 3 million illegal aliens, which he later admitted was the biggest mistake of his administration.

What Colbert conveniently refuses to address is, that again, Democrats broke there promise.

In order for Reagan to provide a “one-time” amnesty, Democrats had to agree to secure the Mexican border, which they agreed to do.

Again, Reagan kept his promise, and the corrupt, lying Democrats, like Stephen Colbert, broke their promise.

Cruz handled Colbert well, but the the lesson learned from the Reagan administration is that Democrats are liars and can never be trusted. Their word is worthless, which is why they must be defeated by principled, constitutional conservatives who love America, freedom, and the U.S. Constitution.

Of course, liberals cheered when leftist Colbert received his current gig, elated that he was being elevated to fight the culture wars for them and their anti-American, anti-freedom views.

Too bad his ratings suck. It’s very difficult to be funny while spewing Hillary Clinton and Debbie Blabbermouth Shultz’s talking points that “You’re all losers and you need other people’s money and big government go take control of you.”
