It’s about time some journalist had the courage to ask Soviet-style socialist Bernie Sanders how he can possibly believe in socialism when it has a 100% track record of fundamentally transforming countries into human hellholes.
It’s the question that should have been asked a long time ago, by Hillary Clinton or somebody in the media, but since they’re closet socialists too, just not as outwardly honest about it, they aren’t asking the question that might kill their entire progressive leftist, i.e., anti-American, socialist/communist agenda.
The question came from an unlikely source, Univision, and both the video and audio were captured by Newsbusters below:
LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure that you know about this topic: various leftist governments, especially the populists, are in serious trouble in Latin America. The socialist model in Venezuela has the country near collapse. Argentina, also Brazil, how do you explain that failure?
BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: You are asking me questions…
LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure you’re interested in that.
BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: I am very interested, but right now I’m running for President of the United States.
LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: So you don’t have an opinion about the crisis in Venezuela?
BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: Of course I have an opinion, but as I said, I’m focused on my campaign.
So Bernie can’t even defend socialism, the anti-freedom platform he’s running on. Maybe because he’s afraid people will figure out that they enjoy having luxuries like food and toilet paper, things brought to humans by capitalism.
The media should be hammering Bernie Sanders with this question until he answers it. Sadly, and embarrassingly, it took a Spanish-speaking network to ask Soviet Sanders the question the American media won’t, despite the numerous presidential debates where the question absolutely should have been asked.
