What Happens When a Black Actress Comes Out as a Conservative? Just Ask Stacey Dash

Back in 2012, actress Stacey Dash sent shockwaves across social media when she tweeted out her support for Republican presidential nominee, Mitt Romney. Dash, you see, is half-black and half-Hispanic. Therefore in the minds of Leftists, she must be a Democrat. Except she’s not.

She has paid a steep price for standing by her political leanings and refusing to buy into the narrative that she should pick her political party based on her skin color and gender.

Dash has spoken in the past about how she has lost relationships with family members who are too closed-minded and intolerant to accept her as a conservative. During a recent interview with CNSNews.com, she also shared how her politics has affected her career in the entertainment industry. In short, she’s been blacklisted.

“My acting opportunities have ceased because of my political beliefs. I’m being persecuted in Hollywood. I’ve been blacklisted. My agents have dropped me. I haven’t auditioned in over a year because of my beliefs and what I stand for. But I know that this is what God wants me to do. And so with that I will stand and I will do it, because I know that what God wants for me no man will keep from me.”

As you can see, Dash’s experience is indicative of the hypocrisy of liberals and the intolerance of those who demand tolerance. She’s not only a conservative, she’s an outspoken one, even going so far as to become a FOX News contributor. For those things, the intolerant Left believes she should be punished.

So, she has been blacklisted. Do you see how that works?

Given Stacey Dash’s recent announcement, you can tell that she’s not letting the attack on her career and livelihood stop her from acting on her political beliefs. Thursday morning on Twitter, Dash announced that she is now on the advisory board of the Women Vote Trump Super PAC.

With that, Dash is sending one loud message to the haters, “How do you like me now?”
