Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is not just any Democrat candidate for the presidency. He’s a hard-core, avowed socialist who makes no attempt to hide his disdain for capitalism and his Santa Claus approach to spending. Though he claims that there is a problem with greed in this country, he simultaneously supports a 90% tax on income.
Sanders has put his economic illiteracy on full display with his call for massive freebies which would cost U.S. taxpayers at $18 trillion over 10 years. That is equal to our current national debt of $18 trillion, a debt we already cannot afford. What Sanders tweeted earlier this week is just another clear indication that he has no business occupying the White House as president and, quite frankly, with ideas like this it is scary that he has been in Congress this long.
Sanders, in a continued pandering to his base who want to stick it to others and get tons of free stuff, tweeted his economic nonsense and ignorance.
It makes no sense that students and their parents pay higher interest rates for college than they pay for car loans or housing mortgages.

Not to worry, the Twitterverse set him straight and called him out on his idiocy.

His lack of knowledge is terrifying. But, when you run as Socialist Santa Claus giving everything away for free, then you don’t really care what the real truth is or whether or not what your saying makes any sense.
