WONDERFUL: Donald Trump Went to Church: Was the Sermon Topic a Miracle?

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, the only Christian in world history who has never asked God for forgiveness, went to church on Sunday, and the sermon topic couldn’t have been more targeted to the bombastic billionaire and reality TV star.

Either the pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in eastern Iowa, where Trump attended, knew Trump would be attending and adjusted his message accordingly, or God has an amazing sense of humor — or both.

At a campaign rally on Sunday in Iowa, Trump revealed to sermon topic and publicly wondered if he was targeted.

The New York Times reported:

“We talked about humility in church today,” Mr. Trump told the crowd. “I don’t know if that was aimed at me, perhaps,” he joked, drawing laughs.

Very funny. Who needs to hear a sermon on humility more than Donald Trump?

Egoist Donald Trump has previously admitted that he rarely attends church services, other than on Christmas and Easter. But Trump is vying for the evangelical vote in Iowa as is born again Christian conservative Ted Cruz, so perhaps he believed an exception was in order for political optic purposes.

Humility is not a virtue observed in the Trump’s public persona. It remains to be seen whether the message will have any effect on his divide and conquer, seek and destroy Alinskyite campaign tactics.
