You May Just Stop Buying Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream After Reading This

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is known not only for its deliciousness, but also for its creative and quirky names. Chunky Monkey, Cherry Garcia, and Americone Dream are but a few of the out of the ordinary names for some of the ice cream duos offerings. However, the company may have to brace themselves for a decrease in sales after word gets out about who they are supporting for the 2016 presidential race.

[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Ben & Jerry’s was sold to the Dutch-British company Unilever in 2000. The founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, were no longer involved with day to day operations of the company after its sale, however they were reportedly still employed by the company as of 2010.

While the parent company for Ben & Jerry’s has donated to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, the real Ben and Jerry are not going with the number one leftist pick for president at the moment. No, they are going even further to the left in throwing their support behind admitted Socialist “Independent” Bernie Sanders, a senator from Vermont.

Ben & Jerry will be standing by Socialist Sanders side when he makes his official announcement for his 2016 presidential campaign on Tuesday. There’s no word as to whether the pair will have a special blend of ice cream to commemorate the occasion, though that might be a bit strange and hypocritical to do so. After all, the duo who built a highly successful corporation will be smiling proudly next to a candidate who will have an anti-corporation focus to his campaign as he campaigns against the influence of said corporations on the political process in America.
