The village of Spring Lake is located in northern Ottawa County in the state of Michigan, on the other side of the Grand River from Grand Haven. Spring Lake is found within Spring Lake Township. The village lies 86 miles east of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and 27 miles northwest of Wyoming, Michigan., and is a part of the Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Holland metropolitan statistical area. It had a population of 2,514 at the time of the 2000 US census. Spring Lake was officially incorporated in 1869.
